Fun in the Sun: Top Three Beaches in Bellevue

Summer is upon us and it’s time to chillax. After slogging through one of the darkest winters in Washington history, you earned it! So swing by your local Bellevue pot shop, pick up a stash of kind buds or a selection of Washington’s best TCH edibles, grab your beach towel and sunscreen, and head to the water.

Luckily you’re in the Seattle-area, which offers plenty of excellent options for waterfront fun. Here’s three of our favorites in the Bellevue area:

Medina Beach Park 501 Evergreen Point Rd  Medina, WA 98039

Located conveniently close to Bellevue’s best weed shop (BelMar, of course!), Medina Beach Park offers a huge swimming area, a sand beach, and a dock wiht a stunning view of Mount Rainier. Highly recommended as a sunset spot.

Idylwood Beach Park 3650 W Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE Redmond, WA 98052

Located in Redmond, just a hop-skip-and-jump from BelMar, this pet-friendly park has something for everyone: BBQ pits, play structures, jogging trails, volleyball nets, a huge grassy lawn for Frisbee or football, a real beach, and a floating bridge that’s a perfect launchpad for a swim in Lake Sammamish.

Enatai Beach Park 3519 108th Ave SE Bellevue, WA 98004

Below 1-90, this hidden gem features canoe and kayak rentals, a playground, a nice big beach, picnic tables, clean bathrooms, a shower, and a dock that stretches far into the lake–the perfect place to kickback and daydream.

All three parks feature shimmering swathes of green lawn, gorgeous trees, and views of Washington’s famous forested hillsides. But naturally these verdant views are even more gorgeous when enhanced by a hit of the state’s other famous greenery.

Luckily, BelMar’s got you covered. From Afgoo Wax to classic strains like Blue Dream and Super Lemon Haze, the BelMar menu is here to ensure that your long-awaited summer is relaxed to the max.
